Our popular Junior Ski Patrol Days are back for the 25-26 season! Be sure to register ahead of time as spaces fill up quickly.

Jr Ski Patrol Day is for kids and teens who are interested in learning more about skills needed to be a ski patroller including mountain setup, first aid, and avalanche rescue skills.

Hatcherpalooza • APril 4

Skeetawk’s biggest bash of the season is back and better than ever!
Skimo race, slopestyle competition, on-hill egg-hunt with golden egg (finder wins a season pass for next season), ski demos, live music, food trucks, beer garden, limited edition shirts, and more! You won’t want to miss it! 10:00am–6:00pm.

EGG HUNT INFO:
10:30 – 4:30: On-mountain egg hunt
(Golden egg will be hidden on the hill. First person to find it wins a free 26/27 season pass!)

Recycle Revival • June 7

The Valley Community for Recycling Solution‘s biggest and best fundraiser of the year! Enjoy local bands, dancing, beer garden, food vendors, silent auction and beautiful scenery, all for $20 admission! Recycle Revival 2026 will be held held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Skeetawk Ski Area in Hatcher Pass. A ZERO WASTE event sponsored by some of your favorite local businesses.

Hatcher Romp! • July 10-11

“The biggest music festival in the Valley is back for a fourth summer! HatcherRomp! is a two-day music festival taking place on the gorgeous Skeetawk ski area in Hatcher Pass. Join us for Friday night, camp out, and rock out all Saturday with some of Alaska’s finest artists— and a national headliner.

With more vendors, food trucks, camping, and an open ski-lift for adventures, there’s more opportunities than ever to enjoy at the Romp.

HatcherRomp! Prides itself in fostering musical and entertainment opportunities for everyone in the state. This all-ages event brings together local businesses, non profits and Artists together to raise the sails of our communities together. Hop on board and lets ROMP!

Skeetawk Scramble • Aug 28-30

The Skeetawk Scramble is a three day mountain running event by Black Wolf Endurance with all races starting and finishing at Skeetawk Ski Area in the stunning Hatcher Pass Recreation Area. Runners will experience all that the southwest Talkeetnas have to offer; incredible views, steep climbs, and impressive ridges.

The 2026 race weekend will take place August 28-30 with events including a youth uphill, a VK, a 12K mountain loop, and a 37K “Skeetawk Skyline Scramble” which is one of four official US Skyrunning races. Runners can choose to run one, two, or all three events over the weekend.

Death by a Mile • Oct 10

Don’t be scared, it’s only a mile (ish).

Join us for the third year of this challenging Black Wolf Endurance race and our 2026 season finale at Skeetawk Ski Area where the only goal is to run as many one mile hill loops as you can in a given amount of time. Choose from 12, 8, 6, or 4 hours of racing the beautiful new Meadow Loop trail atop Skeetawk in Hatcher Pass.
