YURT
Our yurt is our go-to spot to warm up, get a hot or cold drink, buy a beer, snag some souvenirs, or get your day pass, of course!
RENTAL SHOP
The downstairs to the yurt (there are no stairs inside – walk down the hill to get in!) is where our Rental Shop is located. Rent a full setup of skis or snowboard, book lessons, get your gear waxed, or make an in-person season pass purchase! Learn more on our Rental Shop page.
BEER GARDEN
We have an outdoor area with picnic tables, propane “fire pits”.
RESTROOMS
There are on-site flush toilets! Available since the 2023-2024 season!
SEA GARDEN ALASKA
This season we have partnered with the Sea Garden Alaska food truck to provide our customers with quality hot food options on the mountain!

Parking
Please do not plan to park after lot hours!
Please do not park below the gate as it impedes our snow removal and emergency equipment access. No trailers or buses allowed. 4×4 or AWD is highly recommended. Closure is in effect 7 days a week and may result in parking enforcement removal of vehicles at the owner’s expense. Please call Matanuska Towing at 907-745-5252 to recover towed vehicles.
backcountry parking
When Skeetawk’s gate is closed, backcountry users may still recreate in the Skeetawk Backcountry area. However, parking options are limited. Do not park in the turnout near the gate, or along the road.
When Skeetawk’s gate is open, backcountry users are welcome to park in Skeetawk’s parking lot. There is no parking fee, but there is a donation box near the backcountry gate. Please feel free to leave a donation there or make a donation online today!
